Wine Information

Vinification: Picked at MCC ripeness to preserve the natural acidity and red strawberry fruit. Destemmed and crushed with an immediate soft pressing to ensure very little tannin and colour. Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 12 -14°C.

Origin: Elgin Valley

Soil: Bokkeveld shale.
Elevation: 350 metres above sea level.
Production: 600 cases x 6.
Ageing Potential:  13 years.

Winemaker's Note

Showing the beautiful profile of the Elgin Valley. Strawberries,
cherries, citrus skin, mushroom and earthy notes. Juicy palate with a mineral core and a linear structure. Oak supporting the wine with adding texture. Perfect balance between complexity and drinkability.
