Tasting Notes

This release of the “Old Vine” Cabernet Sauvignon is dark purple and dense in the glass. The smooth but firm tannins leave you with a rich, long finish. Dark fruit flavours like black cherry, blackberry, and black currant.

Vinification

Harvested early morning, Alcoholic fermentation was completed in a steel tank at controlled temperature, with frequent punching down. Maceration post fermentation intank for 3 months. Matured in 2000 lt casks for 9 months.

Serving Suggestions

Pairs well with grilled meats such as chicken, pork and beef. Try with sharp cheeses, wild mushrooms or grilled vegetables.
